I needed to migrate all my qubes from an old laptop to a new one, in order to do it fast and secure, I established a direct ethernet link between the two and a NFS server to receive the backup on the new computer (there was approximately 500 GB of qubes to transfer), this page explains the setup

Note that if you can’t make a direct wired connection, you could still establish a VPN between the two qubes OS and proceed the same way. I won’t write instructions as it’s for advanced users, and I guess they should be able to figure how to proceed
