As an Emacs user, I want to reclaim the “Ctrl-Alt-f” key sequence. I looked through several settings windows, both global and VM-specific, and don’t see this specific one. What is the proper way to change this?
I have the exact same problem. It is not listed in the XFCE shortcuts application and on one of my systems it opens with the shortcut with another it doesn’t. I am on Qubes 4.2.
I even went as far as looking at the issue tracker to see if I found this change documented anywhere. Because it is clearly a 4.2 “feature”. However, I did not find any reference. I would love if someone found a way to disable this…
I encountered this problem as well and found that I could remove the application shortcut via the Settings Manager for the qube: Run qubes-app-menu → (vm) → Settings Manager → Keyboard → Application Shortcuts → Select “Thunar Ctrl+Alt+f” → Click “Remove”. I found that this had immediate effect. I hope this helps!
