[Help] External Monitor “No Signal” in Hybrid Graphics Mode on Qubes OS (NVIDIA+Intel Laptop)

[Help] External Monitor “No Signal” in Hybrid Graphics Mode on Qubes OS (NVIDIA+Intel Laptop)
Hi everyone,
I’m using a laptop with Intel integrated graphics and NVIDIA discrete GPU (model Mechrevo Kuangshi 16 Super, RTX 4080 + Intel UHD 770), running Qubes OS [your version, e.g. 4.2.2]. I have encountered a persistent issue where external monitors always show “No Signal.” Here are the details:
Problem Description

BIOS is set to Hybrid/Optimus/MSHybrid mode (integrated graphics enabled, not dGPU-only).
Qubes OS boots and works fine on the internal laptop screen.
When I connect an external monitor via HDMI/DP, the monitor always shows “No Signal.”
xrandr in dom0 does not detect the external monitor.
The external monitor works perfectly under Windows on the same hardware.

What I Have Tried

Checked and adjusted BIOS settings multiple times to ensure Hybrid mode is enabled.
Tried hot-plugging HDMI/DP after boot, and used different cables and monitors.
Added kernel parameters (e.g. i915.enable_guc=2, video=HDMI-A-1:e), but no effect.
Attempted Xorg.conf customization, but Qubes OS architecture makes this difficult.
Searched the Qubes OS forums and found many similar issues, but no universal solution for hybrid graphics laptops.
Confirmed that my HDMI/DP ports are physically wired to the NVIDIA dGPU, not the iGPU.

Questions

Is there any way to get external monitors working in Qubes OS on hybrid graphics laptops where HDMI/DP ports are wired to the dGPU?
Has anyone managed to solve this via special configuration, kernel patches, GPU passthrough, or any advanced method?
Is there any hope for future support in Qubes OS, or is the only solution to use the internal screen or change hardware?

Any advice or shared experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
