Remarks

  • Mostly working very well and reliably

Before updates there were freezing issues requiring hardware reboot with many VM open, sometimes just before freeze when present and running, graphical content of one window/vm appeared to be in another after system left running unattended e.g. left monitoring network overnight.

Except a number of times if I leave the system running it will have frozen requiring hardware restart. Once Windows 11 VM seemed to have message on a reduced size blank window saying the device had experienced a hardware device failure and to reboot. I initially thought this was an unsurprising issue with the Windows VM, but the whole system was frozen and I had to do a hardware reboot and when I did it couldn’t see the drive and tried to boot on an empty spare drive. I assumed this was a drive failure or corruption, but all booted correctly after re-selecting the correct device in BIOS.
As far as I can see the logs oly record normal activity up to freeze.
For now I will run without Win11

not much of an issue but inconsistently sometimes when booting to the drive unlock gets to the usual unlock screen and sometimes it goes to bare text, which after entering the unlock code the screen clears and three small grey squares appear, but after a while the login screen appears.
