Remarks

The computer cannot boot and start Qubes OS normally from a USB stick (or similar). A kernel panic occurs, but this can be corrected.

The following limitations have been noticed during the use of Qubes OS:

  • The internal WiFi card is not supported by Qubes OS / XEN
  • The Tochpad does not work out-of-the-box, but can be fixed
  • Qubes OS automatically shuts down without warning when a physical USB connection of any kind is disconnected from the computer. Plugging in USB devices behaves normally
  • The super key (Windows key) does not work out-of-the-box

I would like to mention that I am a Linux noob and had no experience with Qubes OS. I had friendly support from the community during my tests.
