Remarks
After a clean installation of the just released 4.3.0:
- The Ethernet device requires no-strict-reset parameter, without that it fails to start. So the default install will drop an error, as the sys-net cannot be started. ->manual fix needed.
- The fingerprint reader is a windows only crap, I disabled it in the BIOS.
Other that this, everything seems to be working, the same way as it was with 4.2.x
It is a pretty old machine, but still receiving BIOS/UEFI/CPU firmware updates, so it is just a confirmation that it’s still working out of the box with the 4.3 release…
