Remarks

  • No issues with sleep mode/resuming
  • Battery life sitting around 4hrs
  • WIFI + Bluetooth working
  • External Display via DisplayPort working
  • Audio working without issue via a sys-audio qube
  • Occasionally locking up, but I am running 4.3 RC3 and screwing about with XEN vcpu+ram settings so there’s multiple reasons that could be happening.

That’s very poor battery life for a very new laptop

“Stock” battery life on this configuration seems to only be 6-7 hours, so I wasn’t too disappointed by 4hrs when I’m making it run Xen. Spending some time fiddling to see if I can squeeze a bit more out of it.

Update, after some updates and adding shortcuts to adjust power modes, I’m at 7hrs of battery life.
