Issue #8598 - Qubes Manager crtical error when updating initial memory of appVM

Changing initial memory in fedora-38 AppVM throws an error.
Attempt t change initial memory in qubes settings of an appVM

Whoops. A critical error has occurred. This is most likely a bug in Qubes Manager.

TypeError: disconnect() failed between 'currentIndexChanged' and all its connections
at line 295
of file /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/qubesmanager/settings.py.

line: self.netVM.currentIndexChanged.disconnect()

line no.: 295
file: /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/qubesmanager/settings.py

Analysis and Diagnosis

It is necessary to double ckeck if the issue still exists. It might be fixed by now. It is also necessary to confirm if changing the initial memory for template itself raises the error. Or changing the initial memory for an AppVM based on the mentioned template.

We are dealing with settings.py of qubes-mager here.

I’ve closed this issue, noting I haven’t experienced the issue since 4.2.0. I encourage anyone to reopen if they do experience the error.
