I’m not to sure if it’ll work but I am curious I was recently on the steam store and clicked on a game called stardew valley which is an 8bit game in the system requirements it states you don’t need a you it can run off cpu and ram. Would that work through a vm or games like it? I am curious being that it doesn’t need a gpu they are recommended but multiple people state it’ll work and run fine without.
maybe yes, qubes don’t have 3d graphic but the game is 2d so it fine
There are also various game-streaming services like stadia, geforce now, etc… that work in a VM (I recommend a quad-core cpu since software-decoding full-screen video uses approximately 2 cores).
How about console emulation? Has anyone tested run ps2/3 emulation

While one can emulate a PS2 with barely playable speed, PS3 is definitely out of the way.
