Fresh install of 4.1 unable to install the kali template

Hello,

I just installed a new laptop with qubes 4.1. First thing I did after the first boot is to try to install the kali template. at least 289MB more space needed on the / filesystem.

Any easy way to go around that?

You could make use of the search function where you’d find several threads regarding the kali template (and disk space) already.

I recently found out that a ‘qubes-template-kali’ was added to the 4.1-Release’s repository and I thought I give it a try. Kali template available

Hi everyone! I left some feedback on the Kali template (R4.1) in the updates-status thread, along with the steps I followed in case anyone is unsure about how to install it.

There are a few solutions mentioned that should work. Just in case: if you plan on extending the root-pool be sure to make a back-up of your important data.
