Hey there, can we arrange something?
Sure, here are the next three VanLUG events:
- Saturday, January 18th - Linux Link @ Vancouver Public Library (Central) 2-4 PM (Meetup)
- Tuesday, January 21th - Linux Link @ Surrey Libraries (Guildford) 5:30-7:30 PM (Meetup)
- Saturday, January 25th - Technical Talk @ Burnaby Public Library (Bob Prittie Metrotown) 2-4 PM (Meetup)
I attend every VanLUG event, so choose a time, date, and location that works best for you.
I need help on a brand new install on a Dell 15 Inspiron. Install seems to go smoothly, but sys-net has a kernel panic and says it can’t connect to qrexec agent. I’ll be glad to pay to get some troubleshooting support.
Three suggestions:
- Update UEFI.
- Increase the qrexec agent connection timeout.
- Reinstall Qubes OS using the latest kernel.
I cannot accept any form of financial compensation/payment for my gratis service(s), either through VanLUG, Qubes OS Forum, or elsewhere. If you would rather have a strictly paid support provider, I recommend contacting @alexandre:
