Remarks

  • At face value, ran into same VM startup timeout issues noted here: Framework 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040) Sys-net setup failure
  • Unlike that report, touchpad, display, all irrelevant facets work fine
  • Reinstalled after correcting time in BIOS as the cause of that issue
  • Used kernel-latest as I was using a newer wireless card
