I was just wondering, Fedora 41 XFCE is part of 4.2.4 now, so why’s it still in the testing repo? Is there some specific reason for that?

I‘d say it‘s ok, since I still had to reinstall SELinux-packages after downloading and updating the template to make nfs work. (The day before yesterday, that is.)

Maybe because the F41 template is still unstable?

It was forgotten, but the 202501300253 build of fedora-41-xfce included in the R4.2.4 ISO has landed in the stable repo now: https://github.com/QubesOS/updates-status/issues/5415#issuecomment-2697299300

So, if I’m getting this right, you’re saying that if someone upgrades to 4.2.4, Fedora 41 XFCE will still show up in the testing repo, but if they do a fresh install from the ISO, it’ll be in the stable repo?
Edit: Just got a dom0 update, and now Fedora 41 XFCE has shown up in the stable repo!
As @rustybird posted.
