Fedora 37 templates available

New Fedora 37 templates are now available! We provide fresh Fedora 37 template packages through the official Qubes repositories, which you can install in dom0 by following the standard installation instructions. Alternatively, we also provide step-by-step instructions for performing an in-place upgrade of an existing Fedora template. After upgrading your templates, please remember to switch all qubes that were using the old template to use the new one.

As a reminder, Fedora 35 has reached EOL. If you have not already done so, we strongly recommend that you upgrade all Fedora 35 templates and standalones to a supported template release immediately.

Please note that no user action is required regarding the OS version in dom0 (see our note on dom0 and EOL).

Is it available? I still see it listed under testing

im upgrading now, maybe it took some time till the list got updated? for me it isnt anymore in testing

ah it is available now from qubes-templates-itl . But once installed it via dom0 sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-template-fedora-37 I seem to be missing bits in the template or at least it’s not been as seamless as other versions of fedora or debian

for example

  • no applications show up under the application menu until I refresh applications, even then it says some expected ones are not in the template.
  • I can’t tweak services from the select a service gui in the template from qubes manager it just gives the option of (custom) nothing else shows up such as qubes-update-check
