Fedora 33 Template Not Showing, Still Shows 32

I keep doing an update and it keeps showing only Fedora 32 as the template. I’m not sure what to do.

If you want Fedora 33 instead of Fedora 32, you need to upgrade, not update it.

This is not a solution. I know how to delete VMs and create new qubes. The problem is I can’t get the template to even show up anywhere. I use the update tool. It says it’s updating. Nothing happens.

The update tool cannot turn the old Fedora 32 into the new Fedora 33. In order to get the latter, you have to install it explicitly from dom0 terminal:

sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-template-fedora-33

as explained in my link. Did you try to do it? Do you get any errors?

I guess maybe it was a solution?

It is a solution - but the template will still be named
fedora-32.
You will have to clone it to get a new name.

If you want a template to automagically appear, you will have to install
it using qubes-dom0-update
