Failsafe boot into qubes-os?

I tried to configure Qubes-os to manage two displays with separate X-sessions. So in Dom0 I created a config file which I located in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/. Not the best idea. Can’t boot into Qubes-os now. When I try to boot it hangs with the line “Starting Hold until boot process finishes up”. Is it just a dream I have, that it would be possible to remove that file?

The key combination of: Fn+Ctrl+Alt+F2 ought drop you to a shell (tty2). Login there and, try to undo/delete the x11 config?

Great! That solved my problem.
On my desktop keyboard it’s Ctrl+Alt+F2.
