I’ve been using an apt-cacher-ng qube for a while and have collected a good few Gb in (debian) packages.
However I now want to export all the cached packages to a new, clean, Qubes OS install. Since I’d rather start blank, I would prefer not to backup the whole qube, but only the necessary files/folders, and then paste everything into the new qube on the new installation.
The reason I’m posting this is because I’ve tried to create another cacher qube and pasting the contents of /rw, but this process seems to break something, so I’m unsure on how to proceed.
Is this feasible or should I look into something else? Thanks.
