There is a program that I use which embeds an mpv window into its own windows to view videos, animated GIFs, and audio. I was able to install the program in a Fedora template just fine, but these embedded mpv windows don’t embed, instead spawning their own window complete with toolbar (I am using XFCE) and incorrect positioning/size.
Is this some sort of security feature in which Qubes prevents embedding of one window into another, or could it just be Fedora? I don’t want to waste time trying to fix it if it turns out to be a Qubes thing that I can’t modify.
If it helps, the program is Hydrus Network run from source on a fedora-37 template.
