I have Discord installed on a qube
I try to download an attachment, but nothing seems to happen
Please can someone let me know where Discord on Linux/Fedora/Qubes OS stores files downloaded to a computer please?
Internet searches all talk about where Discord is installed, which isn’t what I’m after
Discord’s File Attachment 101 page talks a lot about what you can do, but doesn’t mention where on the diskdownloaded attachments get stored
If you know the name of the file, try to find / -name $your_file_name 2>/dev/null
If you aren’t sure about $your_file_name, you can use regex as well, e.g. *.jpeg to find all jpegs under the path
Then my question is now
“Has anyone had issues with downloading files from (the Flatpak version of) Discord? If so, is it working now, and how did you resolve it please?”
Resolved by installing a browser on the qube, and letting Discord open the browser
