As can be seen in the image, the dom0 warnings show:
ASCII version (for plaintext people ):

| As a protection measure, the "overrid...|
| This message will only appear once p....|

I would expect the text to be a bit more readable in a security warning.
Hm, good question. My initial reaction is, “Please file a bug report.” But if that’s always the answer for these sorts of things, then what is this forum section for? I suppose it’s for asking questions, having discussions, and anything else testing-related that doesn’t belong on the issue tracker.

I think it’s useful to check for confirmation here before filing a
report. That way the report has useful detailed information from the
start.
So yes, I think this is the right place to start.
What screen resolution does this show in?
Does the text appear large compared to normal?
If you increase the resolution presumably more of the warning can be
seen?
Is this specific to this warning, or to all dom0 warnings?
Can you check that?
@deeplow I really appreciate the text version. - no need to reproduce
the image precisely - just the text is fine in most cases.
Makes sense. Then the testing team is sort of a bug enrichment thing. Collect as much feedback as possible so the most detailed bug report can be created. Filtering out any possible noise.
1024x768
I think it’s just normal size.
Then I’ll try to file a bug report later for this. Thanks for the feedback.
@deeplow - I’ve confirmed this.
It’s obviously a result of shoehorning the text in to an
inappropriately sized (but standard ) box.
You can push the resolution up and still get the effect.
Will you report?
