Does the installer allow you to erase a disk?

I’ve been using a live usb of Linux to erase (not quick format) a disk before installing Qubes on it. However, can I do this through the installer to speed things up?

yes, you can switch to shell by pressing ctrl + alt + f2 then perform wipe disk there.

worked it out, thanks. Used hdparm to wipe SSD via sanitize.
