i tryed to replace standard dns over port 53 with this one 194.242.2.6 but not work
How you try doing that? In which qube, sys-net?
Changed like normal dns from .nmconnection file into default-dvm (template) that sys-net use, to make the config persistent.
Than shutdown template and reboot sys-net.
So same procedure that i do when change default dns
Okay, what do you mean by “it does not work”?
See image in attachment.
I set dns and DNSOverTLS=yes
In the .nmconnection file theb reboot sys-net.
I see that from gui network manager get the right dns but i can not surfing.
Note: that dns is mullvad family one
Is network manager manager DNSoverTLS?
if yes some idea of what im doing wrong?
If not, my question of the topic, how do you manage dnsoverhttps and/or overTLS?
@solene maybe we need a guide about it? ![]()
My goal is to use dnsoverhttp or tls at system
Level so im sure that i wont use isp one get with dhcp
Thank you
Some one have any idea?
And make sense that to be sure that there are not dns standard leak to apply this firewall rules in dom0?
qvm-firewall sys-firewall add action=drop proto=udp dstports=53
qvm-firewall sys-firewall add action=drop proto=tcp dstports=53
So the dns traffic will go only to DOT/DOH port.
Thank you
