Disk usage over 90% and no correction

It’s really strange what’s been happening lately with QubesOS 4.3.1—I’ve had to delete a VM several times today just to get a more accurate picture of disk space usage. I’ve already hit over 90% disk space usage (vm-pool / data) several times today. I’ve had to abort my backup several times because of this, to prevent the operating system from crashing and becoming unbootable.
If this VM is empty, the 90% figure, for example, isn’t corrected.

Thanks, I have one more question about your message.

Where can I find the information that there is approximately 600 GB of free disk space, even though it shows approximately 92% vm-pool / data?

So I’d say that the approximately 92% vm-pool / data can’t possibly be correct.
It should show less than 92%.

This is confusing.
Can you lay things out in order, and explain what you mean by “this VM”,
“this VM is empty”, and the figure “isnt corrected”.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.
