There is currently only a release candidate for 4.1. It may contain serious bugs not found yet, so if you care about security, you should wait until the final release, or choose 4.0 version.

Let me quote the Qubes Downloads page:

Qubes release 4.1.0-rc1

This is a testing release. Please help us improve it by reporting any bugs you encounter. For important work, we recommend the latest stable release.
