I successfully installed and booted the latest version of Qubes OS (4.2.4) on a 9800X3D CPU. However, I encountered an issue where essential components such as sys-net
and sys-firewall
were missing. My attempts to create these components were unsuccessful, indicating that there was a problem during the installation process.

After installing the OS and before I could configure it, a shell opened with the following warnings (rewritten for clarity):
warning: /dev/mapper/qubes_dom0-root does not exist
warning: /dev/qubes_dom0/root does not exist
warning: /dev/qubes_dom0/swap does not exist
generating: "/run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt"
Entering emergency mode. Exit the shell to continue.
Type "journalctl" to view system logs.
