Debian Disposable VM works for sys-* but not for disp-{1234}

Debian Disposable VM doesn’t work. The debian-10-dvm works for my sys-* but not for disp-{1234}. Maybe a mistake in my restore process, I’ll fix this in the next days.

Solved, I created a new dvm-d10 DVM template and got its Disposable:* entries in Qubes Menu. It launched the randomly named dispvm .

I don’t know why the default debian-10-dvm DVM template don’t show its Disposable:* entries in Qubes Menu. The debian-10-dvm appmenus-dispvm feature is 1.

fedora-34 template update: salt error when updating from the tray-bar update (and so also from qubectl/salt cli), but works from Qubes Manager / update . The salt update works for debian and whonix. I’ll explore this in the next days, and create an issue if it’s a real problem.

The error is:

Rendering SLS 'base:update.qubes-vm' failed: Jinja variable 'dict object' has no attribute 'os_family'

The issue already exist : #6771.
