Data Recovery

Hello
I think my boot is corrupted. I cannot boot into my Qubes OS. It is not recognized as bootable device by the system. The disk is fine though. I am wondering if there is anyway to extract the VMs’ data and import to a new Qubes OS or to recover the boot.
I have to admit that it is the first time that such thing ever happened in 4 years of Qubes usage.
Thank you!

You can boot on the installation ISO, it was a recovery option in the menu. It will allow you to decrypt the drive if you know the encryption password, and the drive isn’t corrupted.

You should use the backup tool to avoid ending in a situation where you have no way to do disaster recovery.

If your drive is okay, you might be able to restore the boot partition.

Thank you!
Is there any tutorial of how to use it ? It saids “You don’t have any Linux partitions”

Yes, but if you type lsblk, they should all be there.
