OMEN 15 2020 here. Arrow keys, ctrl\alt\shift\tab\F0-12\home - doesn’t prevent the cursor\pointer\mouse from moving. Alphanumeric keys do. Woks in dom0, whonix and debian appVMs.
Sometimes cursor stops in 0.5-1.5s intervals (it cannot be moved until you raise finger from touchpad and set it again) for 5-7 seconds total.
