Crowdfunding Liteqube

(If you wonder, what Liteqube is, see How I learned to love Liteqube (and why you should, too, even if you have enough RAM) )

However, apparently the original author is not supporting it anymore. I successfully ported it to 4.2 and debian-12. but there are things that block it from being “default distribution” ready.

If you feel you can contribute either as a sponsor or as a maintainer, please drop me a comment! (and if you can recommend a platform that would help us to automate the workflow).

As of now, I am willing to pay USDT150 to anyone who would migrate liteqube to from bash to salt and implement proper error handling and rollbacks during the installation. Another USDT100 would go to anyone who would manage to strip core-net of network-manager completely for wired-only connections, plus extra 50 for working connection status icons.

nix?

I mean crowdfunding platform, not changing the base distribution. However, having a declarative config state would benefit it even more. Salt is somewhat declarative-ish, but I am unsure I am willing to re-examine all the implementation peculiarities. Yet it is de facto standard for all things Qubes so it gives us hope to bring it to the main distro someday.

For those who haven’t notice all my changes are on github already.
