When I attach my laptops webcam to an appvm to use with various conferencing tools, mostly browser based, the quality is not very good with saturation and a few other setting being off.
Is there any way to adjust these settings in qubes so that they are inherited or maybe set in the appvm
I ran into that too while testing my webcam setup through an appvm for video calls. The image looked washed out, and adjusting it inside the appvm didn’t help much. What finally worked for me was tweaking the v4l2 settings on the sys-usb side before attaching it. After that, the changes carried over fine. I had to figure this out while setting up video calls for our ActiveCalls setup, so I totally get how small quality tweaks can make a big difference.
