Is there a way to change a vm’s machine uuid? I tried editing the domains XML using virsh but the VM fails to start stating that a domain with the same name and old uuid exists. Thanks

Why do you need to change the uuid?
Maybe you can change it in /var/lib/qubes/qubes.xml, but it’s probably not a good idea to manually edit that file.
That did it. i had to restart after changing the XML for the change to take effect. Thanks
