I have an encrypted usb stick that I attached to my vault and now I’m trying to unmount it and thunar says “Volume is busy” and there’s a place where it should show a list of apps that are keeping my drive busy, but the list is empty. The Qubes notification says “vault: Writing data to device” “there is data that needs to be written to the device before it can be removed. please do not remove the media or disconnect the drive”… WHAT DO I DO???
I don’t have anything open, but I did used windows 10 image from that usb stick to create a windows qube, but it’s now offline…
I think it’s because of the windows iso… I have:
qvm-block list
vault:loop0 Block_Storage: hosted by vault /media/user/…/windows.iso
but I can’t detach it…
qvm-block detach vault vault:loop0
Error: block device loop0 not attached to vault
How do I remove the usb without losing data???

I did sudo losetup -d /dev/loop1 from my vault
