Does anyone else find that you cannot resize an AppVM window by dragging the lower left and right corners? ie when I’m viewing a pdf and want to make the window larger to read.
Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t. I have to resort to dragging the upper corners.
I’m not sure if it’s a bug or me.

Are you using XFCE, on Qubes OS 4.2.4?

Does it work if you hold “alt” on keyboard and hold right click button and move the cursor to resize?
Is it on maximized windows or all windows?

I haven’t noticed this as much with other programs as I have with Firefox.
I use the Firefox browser the most.
Very often when I open a new Firefox window, this problem occurs.
It’s a daily pain in the ass.

I think I have identified the problem.
It is because Firefox has an appvm border.
If you place the resize arrow on the outer pixel of the frame edge, resizing works.
If you place the resize arrow on the inner pixel of the frame edge, resizing does not work.
I don’t pay attention to things like this in everyday use, which is why I haven’t been able to reproduce the error until now.
Now I can always reproduce the bug with an unmaximized firefox window.
PS:
When the Firefox window is maximized, there is no AppVM border. Therefore, resizing is not possible.
PPS:
I took another closer look at the whole thing.
The problem only occurs when Firefox’s “title bar” is disabled. Which seems to be the default setting.
When I go to Hamburger Menu > More Tools > Customize Toolbar > and then check the box next to “title bar,” the bug no longer occurs.
PPPS:
I also tried Telegram Desktop because it offers a “use system window frame” option. But with or without this setting, the bug does not occur.

Not an issue with KDE
I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.

Do you know if the same thing happens on xfce on a “normal” linux distro, not Qubes?
