I’m trying to do a clean installation of Qubes on my X230 Thinkpad. It’s currently running coreboot with the HEADs payload.
I ran into the error “X startup failed”. Looking at the Qubes Documentation and various reddit threads, it seemed like the answer was to edit BOOTX64.cfg and change the kernel param’s from “vega” to “Intel”.
The only problem is that everywhere I look for BOOTX64.cfg, I only see BOOTX64.efi
I can’t edit the kernel param’s at boot with heads, and I can’t seem to figure out where to locate BOOTX64.cfg.
I appreciate any guidance!
