Can't distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters in the screensaver window

As the topic,i can’t distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters in the screensaver window,so expent long time that every time i login.

You cant distinguish between any letters in that window.
This is by design.
We inherit from upstream Xscreensaver.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team. When I comment in the Forum or in the mailing lists I speak for myself.

Unfortunately, no easy solution. The used screensaver is xscreensaver, it’s considered by many to be ugly (but a bit better with Q logo) and outdated.
Does not show caps-lock state, nor even current layout.

And it is considered to be secure but I am not sure about it at all. If I am not mistaken, I had it crashed down (and unlocking everything!) by connecting a second display some years ago.

Heh. I wouldn’t call it secure. Perhaps best to think of it as the least unsafe option currently known.
