Building Qubes iso for removal of xfce?

Is running

sudo dnf remove @xfce

enough to completely remove xfce in dom0? Or would I have to build my own custom iso? If the former is required, are there any helpful pointers that one could provide? (That would allow me to include my own i3 and i3-settings-qubes packages) & general pointers.

That should be enough, but understand xfce4-settings provides the icons for the domains widget, and it may remove a package that provides progress indicators on the update GUI. (I don’t know which one it is.)
