Is it possible to do this? If so, can someone point me to the relevant docs? I couldn’t find it when searching the docs.
Something like this?
Not quite. That requires an ISO, and I mean ripping a drive from a working (or previously working) computer and booting it in a VM
(Imaged first ofc)
Ah. There exist tools to image a drive and boot it as a vm in Xen. However, I never tried any of them and don’t know if any will work under Qubes.
So, this is an upstream thing, ie Xen can’t boot an OS from the drive without modification?
I’m hoping for a solution where I can just treat it like a regular computer and tell the BIOS to boot from the USB… Maybe I set my hopes too high.
