BlueTooth file transfer speed

Bluetooth and Linux are difficult partners in general; even more so on Qubes OS. Currently I’m achieving decent enough results regarding reliable pairing with a BT qube that I start with a keyboard shortcut which attaches the BT controller to it after starting the qube and then launches blueman, but I never was able to achieve proper usable file transfer speeds, even though my BT device (Intel AX201) is capable of dozens of MB/s and my phone can also handle several MB/s; yet, transfer speed seems usually stuck at around ~55 KB/s.

What’s everyone else’s experience with BT file transfer speed on QubesOS? Any tips for dealing with low transfer speed?
