So Black arch isn’t like normal when you try and put the network configuration settings in so can some please help me and walk me through it.

This should explain everything you need to know.

Basically, you’re in a virtual machine, and that virtual machine is inside a virtual networking environment, too.

You have to spoon-feed your VMs everything, and this is by design.
