Best Way to GPU Passthrough For a Beginner

I recently acquired an AMD Radeon RX 550 GPU and I would like to pass it through for some lighter video editing and gaming. I know that there are a few different ways to do this two of which are: https://forum.qubes-os.org/t/seamless-gpu-passthrough-on-qubes-os-with-virtualgl/20265

I have no experience in this so what would be the “Best” way for me to go about this? Which would be “better” or is there another way?

Edit: I’d also rather passthrough to a Linux VM/qube rather than a Windows.

The first guide is an extension of the second guide. You need to follow the second guide first and after making it work you can follow the first guide.
