I’ve been doing research on Linux and Qubes OS for the last few weeks. I am now considering getting a mini PC to run Qubes OS.
Anyone know by chance if these hardware specifications will work with Qubes OS?
- Beelink SER5 Pro Mini PC
- AMD Ryzen 7 5825U/5850U, 8C/16T
- AMD Radeon Graphics 8core 2000MHz
- 32GB DDR4 RAM, 500GB NVME SSD
- WiFi6/BT5.2/54W/HTPC/W-11
Use cases:
- Veracrypt and KeePassXC for maximum security during encryption process (since Qubes OS is as close to airgap as my tech skills can manage).
- Banking and other financial stuff.
- Private web browsing for research and downloading PDF books when needed.
Would this machine be overkill if it does work? Or is there a cheaper option that’ll do the job? Thanks in advance for info!
