Auto update template-vms and dom0?

Hey there!
How can i automatically update the template-vms and also dom0?
As dom0 is always running i can maby do it with crontab directly or is there a better solution?
But as the template-vms do not run always, i can not do it with crontab, so what could be the solution there?

Is there a way to auto update all the things, so that you just need to restart the computer or cubes every now and then instead of the constant clicking in the update manager? Maybe a cron-job in dom0, is there a cli way to update?
