Hello, I use a desktop computer (Qubes 4.1 alpha iso) with a sound card that I want to use for my headphones (3.5mm) and my music system (optical digital audio out spdif). In the settings of pulseaudio I find only the headphones.
However it is possible after
sudo qubes-dom0-update gnome-control-center
in gnome-control-center to set the audio devices appropriately.
After changing the default audio device to spdif, pulseaudio also only finds this and not the headphones.
So far it works, but I wonder if there are security risks involved and if pulseaudio shouldn’t be able to detect all devices.
Maybe this should be considered as a bug?
