I tried attaching a usb device to a qube. A sony smartphone in adb mode. I got this error:
line 94 echo: write error: Invalid argument.
Am I doing something wrong here? Is this a bug?
It would be easier to help you if you provide a bit more information. I.e.: how is listed your phone when you use qvm-usb?
My experience of attaching android devices via USB is bad. Using adb is easier. I would suggest you to take a look at this community guide:
Hi,
thanks for the reply. When I run qvm-usb in dom0 the phone is listed as:
sys-usb:4-1.4 0fce:320c_Sony_XQ-DC54_HQ635P02F7
Thanks for the guide. However it did not help me. The mtp package was already installed. Also I dont want to use mtp but adb. I cant use adb in the AppVM however because attaching to the AppVM fails with said error. Can I get more verbose logs somehow?
adb over network could be also an option but I’d like to also use USB
So, I think that this workaround could be what you are looking for:
Try giving sys-usb more ram, I had this issue with my webcam and changing the ram of sys-usb to 800M or 1000M made it go away.
