My colors from the “Applications” list have disappeared without a trace for several days now. What do I need to do to get all the colors back so that things are clearer for me again?
Can you upload a screenshot and/or describe you problem in more details to know what exactly is a problem?

I don’t know what the underlying problem is. Perhaps a temporary, perhaps a permanent, fix:
xfce4-panel -r
You see the panel reload.
I run Bleachbit in dom0 and this happens a lot.
On an unrelated note, Qubes team ought to implement a system cleaning util like Bleachbit systemwide and systematized, akin to Qubes Updater (“Qubes Cleaner”).
