Can't access external hard drive connected through USB

This is likely a user error, but I’m stuck, hoping somebody can help. I connected the hard drive through USB. There is no other USB device connected at the moment. Using Qubes UI (top right corner), I attached the “sys-usb:3-1.2 Western Digital…” to my “bitcoin” domain. Now, I would expect, this hard drive to show when I do ls /mnt/ or ls /media (in a Terminal in bitcoin AppVM), but it’s not there. Following docs, I tried to mount it with sudo mount /dev/... ~/mnt, but I don’t see any /dev/xv…

Im using debian templates, since i dont know fedora commands because they not so intuitive
I can add small usb flash disk drives with USB-Devices

But big disk drives if i add same way then they dont come up and then lost are top window options to add SDA.

If i remove then from top sda adding works cause can add only if addind like this from Data devices selecting whole sda partition

When attached devices don't show in files

Its a nagging problem I haven’t figured out. Some qubes don’t show the attached devices in Nautilus/thunar/dolphin. Is there a command that will force a rescan of devices and get them to show?
