ACPI’s available inside qubes, whats preventing qubes from changing the firmware to infect Dom0 or other qubes?I would have guessed ACPI’s on PVM to be emulated but HVM is different, while yes there aren’t very many ways to change acpi on the fly, due to the fact that acpi is basically the strange child of a binary and a shell-scipt made off of a “programming language”, the damage could be huge and unavoidable, take my system for example, disabling ACPI with acpi=off leads to the problem that qubes like sys-usb fail to launch, it is something I haven’t really seen being addressed by anyone
