4.3.0-rc2 installer asked if I wanted Sway. But post-install, I only have XFCE

During the installation of 4.3.0-rc2 I went into ‘Software Selection’

There it showed “Sway Window Manager (supplemental packages)” under Additional software for Selected Environment

I checked that box, because I use sway on other computers and prefer keyboard centric workflows. BUT, now after the installation, Sway is nowhere to be found.

In the display manager, XFCE is the only option.

What’s that about? Lol.

Is that a bug, or do I need to install sway, or what’s going on?

Hello there, that is a part of the installer that it isn’t working.
in fact even if you install sway you aren’t going to have the qubes gui tools to start/stop appvms or even the qubes manager.

qubes 4.3 still use X11, there is still work to do and sway it isn’t working out of the box as i3 with i3-settings-qubes package
