Today I turned on my PC, typed in my LUKS password, then tried to type in my login. 
My keyboard doesn’t work! What happened? Am I doomed!?
I was able to keep my panic just under 3 seconds!
I said to myself, “SURELY I am not the first person to have this issue!” In plus, I knew what I’d done. I turned off USB Keyboard support yesterday (not remembering it would affect a laptop keyboard!).
So I searched accordingly, immediately found the answer (add qubes.skip_autostart to the kernel command line), and I was able to log in, change the keyboard USB setting back, rebooted, and everything now works just fine
