Would like to use WiFi instead of USB tethering on Fedora 40 XFCE

When I first installed Qubes OS, I wasn’t able to get the WiFi working as mentioned here

In the meantime, I was able to use USB tethering, which works well enough. However, I would like to solve my WiFi issue once and for all. So I’m resuming troubleshooting from this point in the thread

Going by the below output, it would seem that I have the required firmware as per this link except that for some reason it wasn’t extracted :thinking:

[user@sys-net ~]$ ls -l /lib/firmware/ath11k/WCN6855/hw2.0/
total 1780
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root      33 Dec 10 03:00 Notice.txt.xz -> ../../QCA2066/hw2.1/Notice.txt.xz
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 1670360 Dec 10 03:00 amss.bin.xz
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root   39836 Dec 10 03:00 board-2.bin.xz
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root  105948 Dec 10 03:00 m3.bin.xz
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root    2132 Dec 10 03:00 regdb.bin.xz

[user@sys-net ~]$ ls -l /lib/firmware/ath11k/WCN6855/hw2.1
total 0
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 20 Dec 10 03:00 amss.bin.xz -> ../hw2.0/amss.bin.xz
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 23 Dec 10 03:00 board-2.bin.xz -> ../hw2.0/board-2.bin.xz
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 18 Dec 10 03:00 m3.bin.xz -> ../hw2.0/m3.bin.xz
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 21 Dec 10 03:00 regdb.bin.xz -> ../hw2.0/regdb.bin.xz

Should I attempt to extract the files?
